VNA Hospice NWI is trusted by the community to lead the way with care, compassion, and comfort, making best days possible.
History of Community Service
VNA Hospice NWI was one of the pioneers of home hospice in the 80s and established the first hospice center in Indiana. Across the nation, nonprofits have led the way in caring for families by creating the model of hospice care. We continue to lead the way today with not-for-profit hospice care, community education, leadership, and advocacy for the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Non-profit hospices provide patients with 10 percent more nursing visits, 35 percent more social worker visits, and twice as many therapy visits versus for-profit hospices.
Community Care Contributions
VNA Hospice NWI provides $1.3 million in community care contributions to our community every year and exists through the generosity of our community. You can support this mission. Give today.
